Complex Hip Roof — Four Faces, Dormers, and Premium Materials All Under-Documented
A significant hail event hit a 2007 Novi colonial with a full hip roof and three dormers. Allstate approved the two primary faces at standard shingle pricing and left everything else off the estimate.
Phase III inspected all four hip faces plus three dormers and found consistent hail impact throughout. The existing shingles were premium architectural grade — priced at standard in the Allstate estimate. The complete gutter run showed functional damage. The AC condenser fins were bent.
