24/7 Emergency Response — SE Michigan
After a house fire, severe storm, break-in, or structural impact, the first call you make should not be to a cleanup crew — it should be to a contractor who can secure the structure and stop the damage from growing. Phase III responds to emergency board-up and tarping calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, across Wayne, Oakland, Washtenaw, and Livingston Counties.
How We Work
Phase III manages every step from first call through final rebuild.
Phase III responds any time — nights, weekends, holidays. We aim to be on site within hours, not the next business day. Emergency response is measured in hours.
All compromised windows, doors, and wall openings are boarded with structural-grade OSB and plywood, properly fastened to prevent entry and weather intrusion. We assess every opening on the property, not just the obvious ones.
Heavy-duty poly tarps are installed over damaged or missing roof sections and secured against wind uplift. Proper installation prevents water intrusion from compounding your loss while permanent repairs are arranged.
Unstable walls, leaning sections, or compromised structural members are secured or braced as needed. We assess the full structural condition and document hazards for your insurance carrier.
Every emergency service is photographed and documented in detail. Emergency board-up and tarping costs are covered as a mitigation expense under standard property insurance policies. Phase III builds the documentation your carrier needs to approve the costs.
Insurance Expertise
Michigan homeowners are surprised to learn that emergency board-up and tarping after a covered loss are not out-of-pocket expenses. These are mitigation costs — expenses incurred to prevent further loss — and your property insurance policy is required to cover reasonable emergency measures.
Phase III handles the documentation and billing directly. We photograph and describe every service, submit the costs to your carrier as a mitigation claim, and ensure the emergency scope is fully paid before restoration begins. You focus on your family — we handle the paperwork.
Direct carrier billing — board-up costs go to your insurer, not your pocket.
Pre-repair documentation — everything is photographed before any materials are moved or covered.
No upfront payment required — Phase III is paid from your insurance proceeds.
Full restoration available — board-up is step one; Phase III handles everything from here through final rebuild.
